Almost made it

Well, Dad and I made it to California early this morning (Thursday) and we decided to crash at Auntie Dianne's and Uncle Paul's before we tackled the project of haulin my stuff up to school. So I've almost made it to school for my 2nd year. We left Monday night and drove all night and most of Tuesday before stopping in North Platte Nebraska (I think it's North, N-something Platte) for the night. After a good nights rest, free breakfast at 8, we decided to chill out to miss the morning traffic, so we watched a movie on tv before heading out around 10:30 on Wednesday. We then drove straight through to Sacramento then on down to Dianne & Pauls (from my memory no less,lol) where we kinda surprised Auntie Dianne. Dad spent most of the afternoon napping (he drove most of this morning) and I think we'll be ready to start hauling my things up to my dorm room tomorrow.

I just wanted to give you all an update & also to ask what Thanksgiving plans are this year, though I am hoping to get in touch with the Sandy and Don to see what they'll be doing since I didn't get a chance to see them last year.
