Back to School Time

So, Jerilynn starts back to school next week. She and Norman were to leave last night after he got home from a hockey game...they're still here! She drove to the store and the car wouldn't start when she came back out. Evidently it has a sensor going bad. It's in the shop today. It should be done this afternoon and they can start out this evening instead. She doesn't start school until next Tuesday, but she DOES need to get Norman to the airport in SF by Saturday morning, and she was hoping that she could move her stuff into her new room on Friday! (When Dad could help her schlep all that stuff up to the 4th floor in a building that doesn't have elevators!) Oh well, that gave me time enough to make gluten this morning, and I have everything cut up for "chicken" pot pie for an early supper before they leave. If they had left yesterday they wouldn't have had any kind of meal because I worked for 12 1/2 hours! ...Besides, I keep thinking of all those people that get off track for some strange reason and then find out that they would have been in some kind of disaster if they had done what they had originally planned....
