CRAZINESS!!
WOW! This year's going to be very interesting...I've finally declared my major. I'm working towards a B.S. in Physics. My advisor is hilarious, he's also the teacher for my physis with calculus class. But yeah, I'm taking 16 credits this quarter. I've got elementary linear algebra which I started a week late, but managed to catch up pretty well and I'm feeling pretty okay about our test for tomorrow. Physics with calculus of course which is very much like the physics class I've already taken except I know how to derive all the formulas with calculus. Then I'm taking statistics which is simple with all of the math I've had so I fully intend to ace the class if not get a 100. I'm also taking a religion class, Biblical Greek, with a couple of my friends who are Theology majors; it's starting off really well, since our first quiz last week was over the Greek alphabet...which I basically already know because of all my math and science. My last class is Chorale which almost isn't a class except for the getting credit for it, we sang the first week for church which turned out really well considering we had 3 practices before the performance. I've also dedicated an hour every day between 2 of my classes to practice the piano...it's VERY relaxing. I brought several piano books, including the piano book I baught for the musical Wicked (the one we saw on Broadway) and I'm getting better at a few of the songs. And of course I'm working almost every day. They had to rearrange the schedule after they decided that we weren't going to be able to stay open until 11pm like last year, so I've ended up wtih 18 hours a week, not including weekends (which I've signed up for practically every weekend) instead of my 12 hours I would have had with the late night. So I'm still deciding whether that's a good thing or not...all of the full-time staff know me now & I feel like one of my friends who worked at the cafeteria last year (Robert) who was everyone's friend & they all loved him & enjoyed working with him. Since he's an RA this year, I really really feel like I've taken his place as "Chef's Favorite."
This is already very long, but I guess I should mention that I've decided to take Aunt Catherine's offer of Thanksgiving at their place since I still haven't found any time to call the Ehrhardt's and see if they're going to Louisiana or not. So I guess I'll see some of you there. Well, I'm off to bed so I'll be rested for my test first thing in the morning. Night!

Hey J! It's good to get an update. So, did Robert change to Theology this year? I'm glad you're having fun, and I'm not surprised you're feeling like "cooks favorite"--they all seemed to love you when I was there at the end of the year, and were glad you were planning on coming back. Besides, I know you're a good worker!
Hey! Yeah, Robert switched to Theo as well as became an RA for his dorm. It's funny, now the 2 cooks I work with in the evening have convinced the lady in charge of scheduling and stuff to create a new shift during mine to help me during the supper rush since I'm the only server. And Robert's decided to take the Wednesday shift since he says he wants a few more hours, so that'll be fun.
